With this third volume the writing duties now alternate between William Moulton Marston's erstwhile secretary, Joye Murchison, and Robert Kanigher, with alleged input from the deceased Marston's story notes. Marston's peculiar but engaging ideas are here much watered down. Dr. Psycho makes a reappearance. New villains include the lively and imperious Atomia, Queen of the Atomic Universe; the "Blue Snowman," who (SPOILERS!) is revealed at the end to be no man at all; and the Mask, yet another clever female lunatic who makes trouble for Diana. Colorful characters and settings abound. I enjoy the Comics Cavalcade covers where WW seems to be good friends with the Golden Age Green Lantern and the Flash, although the trio never meet inside but have their own stories in the manner of Superman, Batman and Robin in World's Finest comics during this period. Wish I could read the GL and Flash stories but the hope is that those wonderful characters will someday receive their own Omnibus editions.
