I really wanted a sandal with a removable insole so I could wear my hard plastic orthotic, but when removing the insole, the bottom of the shoe is flat against the ground with high sides and about half an inch or more lower, with no way to really make an orthotic like mine work. Wore them as is, but not comfortable after a day.
